Ultra Ping Pro is a set of useful tools that allow you to do a good ping a single IP or range, trace route or do a whois minimum of configuration options. The program is very easy to use, mainly because of the interface and layout with tabs separating each feature and provide dedicated options for each. Ping IP, for example, is as easy as writing an IP address, while a range of IP can ping the separate sheet. This time, however, you need to provide both the beginning and end of the IP, while the log panel at the bottom of the window allows you to analyze the results and statistics. On the other hand, if you want to follow the route, you have nothing else to do than to give the host name or IP, while the Ultra Ping Pro takes care of the rest of the work. The difference is that this time Ultra Ping Pro allows the user to specify the IP address, the number of packets and packet size, and the results are again displayed in a special panel in the same window. There is no documentation, although there is a help section which means beginners who install the application can have a hard time trying to figure out how to use it. The good thing is that the Ultra Ping Pro continues to be very intuitive, while running low on resources. This block, however, Windows 7 every once in a while, so? It is better to use it on a Windows XP workstation. All in all, Ultra Ping Pro is handy with a very simple utility that allows you to ping a host or trace routes with little effort. |
